Another Nike Air Jordan 1 “UNC” Is Rumored for Next Year 3

Highsnobiety aims to provide our readers with the latest updates in the sneaker world. However, we cannot verify the reliability of any unauthorized leaks or rumors unless this information is provided directly by the brands themselves.

According to leak account @zsneakerheadz, Jordan Brand is planning to release yet another Air Jordan 1 featuring some form of the brand’s iconic UNC-inspired color blocking.

The leak account claims that the color combination used will be white, University Blue, and black. They have provided a mockup of what that could look like (below).

Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, has long seen its colors repurposed on a number of Air Jordans — most often an MJ’s first signature sneaker. Over the past few years we’ve seen Virgil Abloh’s take on the iconic colorway, a women’s-exclusive patent leather version, and a Nike SB low version.

It’s early days yet with regards to next year’s Air Jordan 1 High, so stay tuned for updates.
