You Can Still Buy the Nike Air Jordan 1 “Lucky Green” Here

Air Jordan 1 Lucky Green

This year’s NBA Championship might be over, but 2020 isn’t done with new Jordan drops just yet. The first AJ1 release for more than a month, the Nike Air Jordan 1 “Lucky Green” hit shelves via limited release today, but they’re still available to secure at resale.

The “Lucky Green” Jordan draws inspiration from Michael Jordan’s 63-point performance against the Boston Celtics back in 1986. Part of its Holiday 2020 release schedule, the Swoosh describes the “Lucky Green” AJ1 as a shoe with a focus “on progress, not perfection,” — a reference to the fact MJ’s iconic performance happened during his rookie year.

While predominantly made up of white and vivid green matted leather across the upper, elements of red and black across the AJ1 provide contrast, and a finished product that’s not far from the “Heineken” Dunk that was released back in 2003. Inside lies a parquet-style insole that’s inspired by the Boston Celtics’ court, now named the TD Garden.

The “Lucky Green” is slated as a women’s exclusive release, but men’s sizes are expected, too. StockX market data shows the new sneaker is currently attracting an average sale price of $259. It reached a 52-week high price of $349 on the resale platform.
