Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus, has reimagined his dad’s first sneaker for a new collaboration between Trophy Room and Nike. While we continue to wait for official release details to be shared, today we get an on-foot look at the upcoming Air Jordan 1s.
The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High OG is a play on the iconic “Chicago” colorway of the Jordan 1. The collaborative pair features a white leather upper with red overlays that bear a glittery finish. From there, the red stitching typically utilized across the upper has been replaced with contrasting white. Below you will find a translucent outsole with red and blue stars underneath. The sneaker is then finished with Michael Jordan’s signature on the heel counter and a co-branded patch on the insole.
While Trophy Room and Nike have yet to announce release information, reports suggest the collaborative Air Jordan 1 will arrive in a limited number of 12,000 pairs on February 10 2021 for $170. Expect it to be an early contender for sneaker collab of the year.
