Nike has officially confirmed that the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” will be released on February 13 of next year. Rumors of the upcoming drop have been swirling since the beginning of 2020.
As has been the case with other Air Jordans that have been retroed over the past few years, this “Carmine” release will stay as true to the 1991 original as possible. Everything from the colors, to the shape, materials, and Nike Air logo on the heel have been carefully put together to mimick the original.
The Nike Air Jordan 6, the signature sneaker in which Michael Jordan won his first NBA championship, will be celebrating its 30th anniversary next year. Nike will likely place a large emphasis on the silhouette, as it has with the Air Jordan 5, 4, and 3 before it.
