Swedish sneaker powerhouse Sneakersnstuff has teased an upcoming collaboration with ASICS. The teaser, which was posted to the main Sneakersnstuff Instagram account, shows the heel section of what looks like a co-branded version of ASICS’ Novablast.
Sneakersnstuff is on somewhat of a hot streak, having collaborated with adidas on the Ultra 4D late last year and kicking off 2021 with a New Balance 920 last week. Funnily enough, Sneakersnstuff and ASICS have not officially collaborated on a sneaker in quite some time. The two brands have released SMUs recently, but the last bonafide, co-branded, collaboration lies several years in the past.
Sneakersnstuff’s version looks to be almost entirely tan-colored with silver branding on the tongue. So far only a snippet of the shoe has been shared, with more looks certain to arrive soon, considering the release date is set for January 30.
The ASICS Novablast debuted last year via a collaboration with AFFIX, which was followed up with several general release colorways and a stylish collaboration with Slam Jam. The Novablast is made with runners of all abilities in mind, its defining feature being the super soft Flyte Foam midsole that provides superior cushioning and promises to make running easier at all levels.
Stay tuned for updates.
