Sneakerheads are bombarded with news of upcoming releases on a daily basis. To save you some time from searching each and every site and leak account, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to sift through the onslaught and bring you a few noteworthy kicks that have captured our attention.

Today, J. Cole officially introduced his second PUMA sneaker, the Dreamer 2, a basketball silhouette designed to be worn on the court and in the streets. We can’t lie, we’re not exactly feeling the Dreamer follow-up, but maybe we’re just more worried about a new album.

Elsewhere, Nike will soon be releasing the Kobe 6 Protro in the coveted “All-Star” colorway, while conversely, the brand has postponed the launch of the Travis Scott lookalike “Taupe Haze” Air Jordan 4.

For fans of running-inspired footwear, ASICS has debuted an all-new silhouette designed by Kiko Kostadinov, called the HS1-S TARTHER BLAST. And speaking of designer-backed projects, Angelo Baque and Awake NY appear to have a new two-sneaker collab with Reebok on the way.

Editor’s Notes: The PUMA Dreamer 2 is J. Cole’s second basketball silhouette. Designed to be worn both on and off the court, the mid-top sneaker is equipped with the brand’s latest RS technology, geared towards helping athletes perform at the highest level. To debut the Dreamer 2, PUMA reworked J. Cole’s iconic 2014 Forest Hills Drive album cover, depicting the rapper wearing the new shoe. The Dreamer 2 will retail for $135.

Editor’s Notes: Nike continues to pay homage to Kobe Bryant by re-introducing colorways from his signature sneaker line in the form of Kobe 6 Protro iterations. Expected to arrive soon is the “All-Star” colorway, which looks nearly identical to the original pair. The upper of the Kobe 6 Protro boasts the signature scales, in addition to a subtle gradient effect. Official images of the “All-Star” makeup have surfaced online, although Nike has yet to announce a release date for the shoe. Reports are suggesting the sneaker will arrive in February, however.

Editor’s Notes: Angelo Baque and Awake NY are prepping the release of a new sneaker collaboration alongside Reebok. This time around, two iconic silhouettes have been reimagined in the Club C and the Classic Leather. Both sneakers appear in an off-white colorway with snakeskin detailing. To mark the collab, Awake NY branding can be found on the heel, while co-branding emerges on the tongue and insole. Seeing as Awake NY hasn’t announced the release just yet, you’ll want to stay tuned for further info.

Editor’s Notes: While not considered a collaboration, the ASICS HS1-S TARTHER BLAST is a new sneaker designed by Kiko Kostadinov. If you’re familiar with Kostadinov’s ASICS line, you’ll likely see his influence throughout the shoe. The HS1-S TARTHER BLAST is a hybrid model of sorts, blending the sole unit of the newer NOVABLAST with the upper of the Tarther from the 1980s. The sneaker is scheduled to debut in two colorways at the end of the month.

Editor’s Notes: For those looking forward to the “Taupe Haze” Air Jordan 4, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. However, the launch has been pushed back a month to February 27.
